A quick synopsis of 2013.

As it is 2014 already in Mouzilo, the Tribune makes a quick summary of the most important events that took place in or affected Mouzilo in 2013.

21-24 Jan: The Civil Conflict of Mouzilo takes place. The Conflict lasted 3 days and resulted in both the creation of ASPRM – the Autonomous Socialist People’s Republic of Mouzilo– and the temporary ban of the parliament; a black page in the Mouzeliot history books.

27 Jan: Mouzilo adopts a new currency, the InterSol. InterSol was later replaced by the Mouzeliot Drachma, as it proved to be a “illogical currency” (-Manu II, March 6th 2013).

2 Feb: Being unhappy with the fact that Prince Alex I gave support to the rebels during the Civil Conflict, the then Emperor, Manu II, removed Alex I from the principal seat, leaving it vacant for the rest of the existance of the Empire.

Mar: Mouzilo and the bordering Republic of Kormenia agree to create the United Empire of Mouzilo and Kormenia. Several days later, Mouzilo annexed Kormenia.

7 Mar: The Mouzeliot Ministry of Economy and Economics starts printing the new banknote series of the Drachma, known in Mouzilo as Europe-1 (Ευρώπη-1 Evropi-1)

10 Mar: Probably the biggest diplomatic crisis between Mouzilo and Hasanistan. It resulted in the mutual unrecognition of both states and lasted approximatelly a week or so. After it was made clear that everything was a misunderstanding, the two states re-established diplomatic relations.

4 Apr: The first participation of a Mouzeliot team in an international sports competition, MicroLeague Basketball. Arion B.C. faced Vetria City B.C. (V.C.B.C. reached several months later to the final) and won, 70-55 (Official Report).

7 Apr: Mouzilo and the Kingdom of Mahuset form UEMM-the United Empire of Mouzilo and Mahuset. Due to huge differences between the two states, UEMM did not last long.

14 May: Manu II visits Nyclos and meets Mr. Nico Fors.

14 May: Mouzilo acquires 10 sq. km of Greek land.

19 May: Mouzilo celebrates a year of existance and establishes the National Week, a week dediated in celebrating Mouzilo’s declaration of independence.

22 May: Pan-Imperial elections take place. The Cythist party comes first and acquires 2 seats in Kältór. The Freedom Party, the National Eniakist and the Neutral party follow, acquiring 1 seat each.

Jun: Mouzilo and Hasanistan, in a historical moment for the history of both nations, create the 3rd United Empire.

19 Jul: District of Cleveland joins in the United Empire and the 3 states form the United Districts of Kekropia, which was de facto created 4 days before.
